Shopping in Malta

Around the cathedral in Valletta is the shopping mile.
You can buy modern fashion at the St. John's Street, Zaqqarija Street and of course at the Republic Street.

On the left side of the cathedral, at the Merchants Street you can buy textiles, music CD's, household goods and kitsch in abundance at the Il-Monti market..

The Malta Crafts Centre at the St. John’s Square (in front of the St. John’s Co-Cathedral) offers traditional handcraft and souvenirs. Oppening hours: 8.30-17.00, 16th June - 30th September 8.30-13.00
